Tuesday, November 18th, 2008
Raised on a steady diet of Bob Dylan, Molière, Christopher Durang and Mentos, Jamie Marchi has been making fresh and acting professionally for eight years, as well as cycling amateurishly for 25.
She is best known for roles in Witchblade (Masane Amaha), Black Cat (Rinslet Walker), Burst Angel (Meg), Crayon Shin-chan (Miss Polly), Fruits Basket (Motoko Minigawa), Suzuka (Miki Hashiba), Fullmetal Alchemist (Rick), Speed Grapher (Miss Wakaba), Yu Yu Hakusho: Ghost Files (Juri), and assorted characters in Dragon Balls Z and GT, amongst others.
In her spare time, Jamie enjoys 80s music, dancing, watching football, spending time with cool people, Chuck’s fajitas, making fun of people who are taking long walks on the beach, and generally just being a redhead. Born in Knoxville but never considering herself a Knoxvillian, she now resides in Dallas after majoring in Theater and minoring in fashion and espionage at the University of Oklahoma (Go Sooners).
