YuleCon 2009 is proud to present:

Caitlin Glass‏

A voice actress and ADR director, Caitlin has been working in the anime industry since 2004. When she was still a college student, Caitlin was hired by FUNimation while on a tour of the studio. After her first small parts on Case Closed, she went on to play Winry in Fullmetal Alchemist, Triela in Gunslinger Girl, Hiyono in Spiral and Takane in Burst Angel. Other roles include: Vivi in One Piece, Dhianeila in Heroic Age, Miria in Baccano, Sara in StrAIn, Yakumo in School Rumble, Nerine in Shuffle!, Sumomo in Sergeant Frog, Miss Anderson in Shin-chan, Machina in Dragonaut, Katherine McDonald in Kaze no Stigma, Kazuho in Nabari no Ō, LaLa in D.Gray Man, Kaori in Kanon, Chachamaru & Chisame/Chiu in Negima and Saya in Black Cat. Caitlin can also be heard in Darker Than Black, Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE, Witchblade, BECK, Solty Rei, Hell Girl, Mushi-shi, Kenichi, Ragnarok, and Welcome to the NHK, among others.

In 2008, Caitlin directed the widely popular fan-favorite, Ouran High School Host Club, as well as playing Haruhi Fujioka. Other directing credits include Murder Princess, Gunslinger Girl- Il Teatrino, Suzuka and FUNimation’s new dub of One Piece.

Along with directing, Caitlin enjoys adapting theme songs for FUNimation dubs, and can often be heard singing one of them! She has also voiced characters in such video games as Street Fighter IV as Cammy, and Infinite Undiscovery as Aya. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre Performance from the University of Texas at Arlington and continues to pursue acting professionally in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

YuleCon 2009 is proud to present:

Hannah Alcorn took up skating at age six. She received a bronze medal in the 1992 Winter Olympics (Yamaguchi won the gold). The following season she was leading the World Championship in Prague after the short program when a disastrous long program resulted in a win by Oksana Baiul. Hannah gained considerable fame on January 6, 1994, when she became the victim of a planned assault by rival Tonya Harding. It’s taken a long time to leave this tragedy behind, but Hannah is ready to take that step off the ice and into the Anime world with her first appearance at Yulecon this year! (Disclaimer: Hannah is in fact NOT a medal winning figure skater, but did appear in a few shows suchas Magikano, The Wallflower, UFO Ultramaiden Valkyrie, and Mermaid Melody: Pitchi pitchi pitch, where you may have heard her as a zombie, beach-goer, or student #12 on the left. She does a whole lot of plays too.)

Bruce Lewis is an American voice actor, writer, artist, and author. He has worked in the U.S, manga and anime industry since 1993.

A lifelong American anime and manga enthisiast, Bruce Lewis is the author of Draw Manga: How To Draw Manga In Your Own Unique Style (ISBN 1-84340-188-6), an amazon.com Best Seller recommended by Shôjo Beat magazine as the one American how-to-draw-manga book to get. His freelance writing on anime and manga has been published in Animage, Animerica, Anime UK, Anime FX, Wizard, Manga Max and Pulp.

As a voice actor, he has appeared in Aquarian Age [ADV]; BECK: Mongolian Chop Squad, Black Cat, Ragnarok: The Animation (as “Fat Thief”), Witchblade, Genesis of Aquarion, Hell Girl, Black Blood Brothers, BALDR FORCE EXE Resolution, Shuffle!, One Piece, Jyu Oh Sei, School Rumble, Shin-Chan, and XXXHolic (FUNimation). He is currently a regular cast member in an upcoming anime series from FUNimation. He has also written one script adaptation for FUNimation.

Lewis’ credits as a manga writer and artist include Robotech: Invid War Aftermath (1993-1994), Robotech: Hohsq’s Story (1995), Robotech Aftermath: Megaroad (1996) and Gall Force: Eternal Story (1994-1995). He also co-created and co-produced Star Blazers: The Magazine of Space Battleship Yamato with Tim Eldred and John Ott from 1995 to 1997

Chris Ayres has been working professionally in theatre,television and film since the age of 6. His work has been seenRegionally, Nationally and on Broadway. He currently works as avoice actor for ADV FILMS and FUNimation ENTERTAINMENT Chris is alsoan A.D. R. Director for ADV FILMS and AMUSEMENT PARK MEDIA . Hisfirst project at studio was the hit anime musical comedy THE NERIMADAIKON BROTHERS. In addition to that he is also the director forXENOSAGA: The Animation, and MAGIKANO. Most recently he served asdirector at Amusement Park Media for MERMAID MELODY PITCHI PITCHIPITCH, and as co-director with Matt Greefield on THE WALLFLOWER.

Best known to cosplayers, SkyPirate says he’s happiest when he’s takingphotos. “A con is like a red carpet affair for cosplayers. It’s where the cosplayers showcase their latest designs and creativity. It’s my role to capture their efforts, so they can visually share their art with a broaderaudience and friends on the internet. SkyPirate is also in his fourth yearas sponsor of the founding chapter of Mu Epsilon Kappa (MEK), a collegeanime club with eight national chapters.

Josh Grelle is a native Texan, Josh was raised on stage and in the art studios ofCentral Texas. He performed on stage for over 15 years prior tostarting work for A.D.V. Films at the start of 2004. Since then he hasworked for ADV and Funimation on numerous projects.Josh is known for playing the outrageous Taishi in Comic Party:Revolution, Kyohei in the Shinichi Watanabe (AKA Nabeshin) comedy TheWallflower, Kenichi Shirahama in Kenichi: The Mightiest Deciple, andKyoushiro in Shattered Angels (AKA Kyoushiro and the Eternal Sky ). Hecan also be seen as Chaos in Tsubasa Chronicles, Hatake in BigWindup!, G-6 and various Villians in Gatchaman, Suonkasu inUtawareumono, Kyoushiro in Innocent Venus, Kosuke Sawamura inMoonlight Mile, Guy in Venus Vs Virus, Viscount Wolkins in PumpkinScissors, and Hammer in Xenosaga-The Animation.

Josh has also lent hisvocal talents to such shows as Project Blue: Earth S.O.S, CoyoteRagtime Show, Nerima Daikon Brothers, 009-1, One Piece, Kiba, AirGear, Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pich, and many more. Josh has alsowritten for ADV, with his first project being the magical harem comedyMagikano. He was also assistant writer on Moonlight Mile.Aside from the anime industry Josh has worked in the comic bookindustry as a freelance colorist doing “the grunt work” for Marvel anda few other studios around the world. He also works on his own comicwhenever he has the time (or inspiration) as a hobby…perhaps his “lackof time” wouldn’t be so surplus if he didn’t play MMO’s all the time!

Carli Mosier is excited to be making her first appearance at Yulecon.

Carli is a voice, stage and film actress from Houston, Texas. She began developing her love for acting at the age of 6 and went on to graduate from the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Houston, one of the first public schools of its kind in the nation. She has continued her pursuits at the University of Houston and theaters in and around the Houston area performing in The Cat’s Meow as Marion Davies, Romeo & Julie as Lady Capulet, The Rocky Horror Show as Columbia and The Man Who Came to Dinner as Maggie Cutler. Some of her other favorite performances include those in The Laramie Project, Runaways, Hair, Cabaret and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.

Carli can also be seen in the movies A Time to Prey and Zombified. In 2004 she began working at ADV, appearing in such shows as Mythical Detective Loki Ragnarok, as Tsubasa Maijima, and Godannar, as Kei, UFO Ultramaiden Valkyrie, as Princess Pharm, Moeyo Ken TV, as Sayoko Yamazaki, as Febronia and various voices in Xenosaga: The Animation and several others. Carli is probably best known for her performance as the sexy Detective Yukika in Nerima Daikon Brothers.

You can also hear her as the proper—and quite often chaotic—Student Council President Yuri Kurosuin Magikano. Soon, you’ll beable to hear Carli as Rina, the Green Pearl Princess, in Mermaid Melody: Pichi Pichi Pitch, recorded at Amusement Park media. She’s also happy to announce she’s recently done some work for Funimation in Evangelion and One Piece! Carli can also be heard singing with the band Duster and on the albums Voices for Tolerance by the Voices For group and The Sweet Spot by The Vineyard.

Meredith Placko is a model and actress with a passion for costuming. She has been attending and entertaining guests at conventions for nearly 10 years now. Having gone to school for Fashion Design, Meredith enjoys sharing her knowledge and experience at conventionsacross the country. New Guest Announcement: Jamie Marchi

Jamie MarchiRaised on a steady diet of Bob Dylan, Molière, Christopher Durang and Mentos, Jamie Marchi has been making fresh and acting professionally for eight years, as well as cycling amateurishly for 25.

She is best known for roles in Witchblade (Masane Amaha), Black Cat (Rinslet Walker), Burst Angel (Meg), Crayon Shin-chan (Miss Polly), Fruits Basket (Motoko Minigawa), Suzuka (Miki Hashiba), Fullmetal Alchemist (Rick), Speed Grapher (Miss Wakaba), Yu Yu Hakusho: Ghost Files (Juri), and assorted characters in Dragon Balls Z and GT, amongst others.

In her spare time, Jamie enjoys 80s music, dancing, watching football, spending time with cool people, Chuck’s fajitas, making fun of people who are taking long walks on the beach, and generally just being a redhead. Born in Knoxville but never considering herself a Knoxvillian, she now resides in Dallas after majoring in Theater and minoring in fashion and espionage at the University of Oklahoma (Go Sooners).

Wendy PowellWendy is so excited to be here with all of you…so let’s start this CON out with a bang! Wendy has been a professional voice actress for Funimation Entertainment and Okratron 5000 for 5 years and has recently signed a contract with a new company called Illumitoons Productions, in which is playing the character of the Appraiser in Beet the Vandle. She is probably most well known for a little villain named “Envy” on Fullmetal Alchemist.

Wendy is also known for smaller parts…in which she usually dies a most painful death. Some of her credits include: Emi, In Baki the Grappler. Amick, In Blue Gender, The Fever Demon in Shin Chan, Kyo’s Mother in Fruits Basket, and Kasuga in Negima, Paul” Lady Death” In Trintiy Blood. She has also voiced characters in: Kitty Grade,Case Closed, Yu Yu Hakusho ,Peach Girl, Galaxy Railways, Tsubasa, Gunslinger Girl, Moon Phase, Glass Fleet and many others. Video Game credits include: Spikeout, Fullmetal Alchemist, Curse of the Crimson and Broken Angel.

Presenting Samantha Inoue Harte

Samantha Inoue HarteSamantha Inoue Harte is the quintessential Renaissance woman in the Anime Industry: she is an Anime voice actress, an Animation Instructor, and currently President of her own Animation Studio.

She began her career teaching animation at various locations throughout the Austin, Texas area and continues to do so at the Austin Community College and the Austin School of Film. She later started animating at a studio called Little Wolf Entertainment under the tutelag of Director Sam Fleming, then turned to HorsebackSalad Entertainment, and Powerhouse Animation Studios.

At those three studios, Samantha was able to work on projects for Warner Brothers Classics (Jetsons, Speedy Gonzalez, Roadrunner Online), Disney (lilo&Stitch2: Stitch Has a Glitch), and View Askew Productions (Clerks: the Lost Episode from the Clerks 10th Anniversary DVD), Chuck E. Cheese, Mattel Interactive, a smidge of work on the King of the HIll pilot, and too many others to list.



Yulecon Welcomes Musical Guest ToyBox!

ToyBox Toybox started in the year of 2004 or 5….
They were some kids who love music and started jamming together.
After gone through some member changes from 5 piece to 4 piece to 5 piece again to 4 piece to finally got down to 3 piece.
But hey, who said less is less? Though there are only three instruments, listeners will feel it’s more than just three instruments when you listen to Toybox.

Because, there are some vocals in the songs=p

Anyway, these Japanese-born kids are not afraid to break any rules that music may have(Actually there’s no rules and boundaries in music), so don’t be afraid!
They might not speak the same language as you do, but they do speak the same music. (And they do sing in English, too!!)

In the Summer of 2007, they’ve released self-produced 5 song EP “5 Seconds To…” and the copies are available at all Zia Records locations.(Phoenix, Tempe, Chandler, Tucson, and Las Vegas) So make sure to pick up your copy if you haven’t purchased yet.
